Hello friends! Its been a year and half since COVID-19 strike in my country. With that, there are few vaccines being distributed to C category on which I do belong and luckily for me as well as a privilege too, having an employer who wanted to us to got our vaccinations, ASAP.
I got my first dose of Oxford, AstraZeneca from a private company. As mentioned that my employer wanted us to get our vaccinations, ASAP for they are near to seniors in a way that they are much prone to get infected.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

BEVERAGES
Listing beverages on the top as one of the major components I actually want to list. Taking lots of water is a must after your first vaccination. Keeping yourself hydrated is very important. As most of the common side effects of the vaccines includes muscle pain, headache, chills or a general feeling being unwell. When you properly hydrates yourself it will not only prevent you getting sick as well as it could help you shorten the duration of the side effects.
DO’S BEVERAGES
- Water which is extremely important
- Coconut Water
- Milk (if breastfeeding women, please do continue as the antibodies produced thru vaccination could pass to the babies thru milk and could offer immunity for your babies.
- Teas (it could be ginger, chamomile, or green tea)
DON’TS BEVERAGES
- Alcohol
- Sugary Drinks such as sodas, flavoured juice drinks and anything sweets
- Energy Drinks
SOLID FOODS
Eating solid foods in your post vaccination could help you regain strengthen as well as helping your immune system to recover.
DO’S
- Nuts
- Whole Grains
- Fish
- Fruits (apples, banana, pineapple, and watermelon as this fruits can help your body stay hydrated)
- Vegetables
DON’TS
- Processed Foods
- Fried Foods (which are harmful for the immunity and might lower down)
my Takeaway
COVID-19 vaccination I guess should be put in the norm for all of us to protect ourselves from the widespread of COVID-19 virus especially nowadays that there are more variants as well as the high number of cases being recorded day by day. With that, getting our vaccine to help our dear frontliners and also family away from danger that the virus had. I believe and hope that someday this too shall pass.
Thank you so much for dropping by, have a nice day!
